Chris Finch is an American basketball coach who stands as the current head coach for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Early in his career, he served as an assistant coach for the Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, and Toronto Raptors. A former player, Finch went undrafted in the 1992 NBA Draft but played in the Sheffield Sharks of the British Basketball League.

Finch then moved to Belgium, where he was the head coach of Euphony Bree (2004-2007), winning Bree's first and only Belgian Basketball League championship in 2005.

In 2009, Finch returned to the United States and began working as the head coach of the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, of the NBA D-League. During his stint, the Vipers went 34–16, finishing in first place in the Western Conference, and earned the franchise's first playoff berth.
In 2011, Finch was appointed as an assistant head coach for the Houston Rockets 2011. On 8th August 2016, he joined the Denver Nuggets as the assistant head coach.
On 8th June 2017, Finch was officially hired by the New Orleans Pelicans as the associate head coach alongside Alvin Gentry. However, he was not retained by the Pelicans on 16th November 2020.
On 4th December 2020, Finch was named a new member of the coaching staff for the Toronto Raptors.
On 22nd February 2021, the Minnesota Timberwolves named Finch as the team's new head coach.
