Conor McGregor Vs Floyd Mayweather part II? A Boxing rematch 'in talks'

After a bout Vs Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229, the Notorious might look forward to earning more cash with a rematch against  Floyd Mayweather. Earlier while he took on the boxing legend, he earned somewhere around $100 million but it will be a lot more if he fights again.

 

Floyd Mayweather's dad, Floyd Sr revealed that there is sensational talks going on between his son Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor for the boxing rematch. Almost a year back, the MMA star faced a 10th round KO defeat against the undefeated boxer. 

"They are talking like him and Conor McGregor are going to fight. That’s what it sounds like. I don’t know for sure but I’m just saying the way things are sounding to me. Sounds like he (my son) wants to fight again."

Floyd's father revealed in an interview with Helen Yee Sports.

“He’ll [McGregor] fight again and show people what he can do, which is nothing. I’m going to make sure this time he is stretched out. All the way out of the game. I’m going to make sure he doesn’t come back no more.”

He added.

Despite Conor's call off to face in an octagon, Floyd Sr believes the two fighters will possibly have a boxing rematch with the previous match rules.

“I’m just saying I think they are going to fight the same way [boxing rules]. I think that Conor McGregor wants to get that win back that he had, which is never coming back to him anyway. It’s being talked about and it sounds like there is a lot of interest in it right now.”

Conor and Floyd, after a year of face-off still, are on social media war. Some days ago, Conor rejected Floyd's proposal to train in his gym ahead of the PUFC 229 in a harsh way.

He took Twitter and responded writing, "F*** the Mayweathers, except Senior and Roger. There is no peace here kid. Step up or step down."
