Dana White responds to McGregor's recent actions: 'It's Like Stealing Adesanya's Thunder' MMA

UFC President Dana White and the former UFC champion Conor McGregor are currently on a social media beef. Their relationship seems to have been even bitter after McGregor leaked the screenshots of private conversations between him and the UFC chief.

The Notorious has been a pivotal part of the company's success in recent years and is the most popular and marketable fighter. He is also known for his close relationship with the UFC president but their relationship has appeared to be strained.

White recently talked about the Irishman's recent actions and revealed that he has a pattern to steal the public's attention from a rising fighter. Conor revealed that he would fight Dustin Poirier in the upcoming bout ahead of UFC 253 main event between Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa. Conor also released his private chat with Dana White- which Dana responded later.

“This was a weird one. This was weirder and different than anything he’s done before. There’s almost a pattern here. When we’re about to do a massive fight—and Israel Adesanya broke a ton of records last week in a global, massive fight—the day before that fight, he starts announcing he’s going to fight this guy and that guy. It’s almost like stealing Adesanya’s thunder. But he does it every time there’s a big fight.”

White said.

Though there was nothing controversial in the chat between the two UFC men, Dana claimed that the former UFC champion broke the code to which Conor replied through a tweet that read:

Code was broke when you lied about me turning down fights mate. I said Justin in May and you went and said I did not want to fight. It’s not about Diego. Diego was a filler to get more fights in. Also, you have been involved in Manny talks the legal letters are there. Stop lying.
