On 24th July 2020, he faced Erick Murray at LFA 86 - Fischer vs. Flick. He won the fight via Submission (Anaconda Choke). In his following fight, he gained the victory via unanimous decision against Yu Ji CES MMA 61 - Gotti III vs. Alley.
Fabio began in 2021 fighting against Myron Dennis at LFA 99 - Dennis vs. Cherant. He won the bout via unanimous decision.
On 27th March 2021, Fabio made his UFC debut at UFC 260 - Miocic vs. Ngannou 2 against Alonzo Menifield. He lost the fight via Submission (Shoulder Choke) in round one. On 21st August 2021, he was knocked out by William Knight at UFC on ESPN 29 - Cannonier vs. Gastelum.
