Conor 'The Notorious' McGregor never had a bout in the octagon since he knocked Eddie Alvarez in 2016. He fought a boxing match against Floyd Mayweather in August 2017 but now he is back in UFC.
Amidst several rumors of his long-awaited match against current lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, Conor has confirmed his return to the octagon. The Notorious never had a single bout in UFC since he knocked Alvarez to win the lightweight belt in 2016.
On Thursday, The Irish Mystic Mac officially confirmed his return to UFC posting his photo on UFC shorts and captioned:

Earlier, his lawyer Graham Kenny also leaked the news as he posted an Instagram story of his booked return flights from London to Las Vegas for the early October. With the photo of winking Elvis Presley, he wrote, "It's on..."

Some days back, Conor himself told that he is very close to returning UFC when asked by the reporter. The Irishman who is currently in New York is expected to fight the Russian Khabi in Las Vegas in October.
