Jeremy Lin, who played for Dallas Mavericks after his 2010 NBA Draft, signed a 2-year contract with his hometown Golden State Warriors on July 21, 2010. The contract of worth $1.3 million included his salary of $500,000 with more than half of it guaranteed. 

After 2011 offseason, he signed with New York Knicks on December 27, 2011, where he played till 2012 and earned $762,195 in the season.

During 2012 offseason, the Houston Rockets who offered Lin a $28.8 million contract over four years, signed Lin with a revised deal of $25 million for 3 years. The Rockets paid Lin $5 million and $5.225 million in first two years, followed by $14.9 million in the third year summing up to $43 million of total cost including luxury tax.

Later on July 13, 2014, he signed with Los Angeles Lakers for the 2014-2015 season with a contract of $15 million but only $8.3 million counted.

Lin, who signed a two-year, $4.3 million contract with the Charlotte Hornets in 2015 offseason, later denied $2.2 million player option for the 2016–17 season on July 1, 2016, and signed for Brooklyn Nets later on July 7.

The three-year contract with Nets is $36 million as per  ESPN's Marc Stein, which he tweeted in his official account.

The average annual salary of Lin as of 2017 is reported to be $12,766,667, less than compared to highly paid NBA players Carmelo Anthony($24,559,380) and LeBron James($30,963,450).

Lin's deal currently carries a cap hit of $12,000,000 and a dead cap value of $24,516,746 which will be $12,516,746 and $12,516,746 respectively in the next two seasons.

Later after signing a deal of $36 million with Nets, Mansion Global suggested him a lot of luxury properties which included, apartment on the 21st floor on Hanson Place worth $2.995 million, 25-foot-wide, 5,770-square-foot single family home in 361 13th St. of worth $ 3.95 million,  two-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom apartment is located in Pierhouse of worth $6.05 million and apartment in 185 Plymouth St. of worth $3.999 million. However, he is still in search of the perfect one.

Jeremy Lin, with his attractive height of 6 feet 3 inches, who has turned down most of the sponsorship deals he has been offered, owns a Maserati car which is worth $100,000. 

He even stated that he declined tens of million dollars of endorsement opportunities during the peak of Linsanity.

Jeremy Lin's Career

Jeremy Lin's career was not easy as he was not chosen after the 2010 NBA draft. But after joining  Dallas Mavericks through his struggle, he was later signed by Golden State Warriors in 2010. 

Impressing all with his play, he got a chance to play in ABA Club Championship MVP of 2011. He played for the team until 2011 season but got off after a season as he got patellar ligament injury to his knee, the same he got later while playing for Brooklyn.

Lin got signed in New York Knicks in 2011 after an injury to guard Iman Shumpert, the New York Knicks who claimed Lin off of waivers to be a backup behind Toney Douglas and Mike Bibby. He played there till 2012. 

Later, he got signed by Houston Rockets in 2012 offseason and played there until he was traded to Los Angeles Lakers on July 13, 2014. But, he was not provided with economic benefit as per the contract which promised to pay $15 million but counted the salary cap of $8.3 million.

So, he signed a two-year with Charlotte Hornets and played in 2016 season. After the contract was over, he signed Brooklyn Nets with an attractive contract of $36 million for 3 years.
