Well, Jake and his wife, not only shares the exemplary idol of the sweet couple but also some interesting love story of them. As reported, Jake and Brittany are lovers since high school as both attended Plano East Senior High School in Plano, Texas, and are reported to be dating since then.
The most interesting thing comes here as the couple was reported to have attended the same elementary school and after high school, the love duos went to the same college Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.

And after dating for a couple of years, Jake proposed Brittany in late 2007. Though, the couple has kept the detail of their engagement quite low. And it didn't take a more than a year for the couple to drive their relationship to an ultimate goal.
Yeah, Jake married his fiancee Britanny in November 2008 at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas, the wedding detail being undisclosed.

Well, Jake and Britanny love got the additional strength with the welcome of 2 children, Cooper and Palmer.
Jake's wife, Britanny the former elite-level gymnast seems busy in raising her 2 children. The couple welcomed their first baby, son Cooper in late 2010.
In his interview with MLB.com in 2014, Jake revealed that his 3 years old son would ask him why he needed to work hard often, and he would tell:
"Well, we have to practice and work hard to get better at our job."
He further added:
"He doesn’t really understand baseball is a job, but that’s one of the beauties of playing this game. I get a large amount of time off that I do and I’m able to have him around. It’s neat for them to see the behind-the-scenes aspects of baseball."
