Le’Veon Bell Aiming For $17 million a Year with Steelers Basketball

Le’Veon Bell’s eyes are all dollar sign as it has been reported that the running back is seeking $17 million per season on a new deal with the Steelers

As reported by NFL Total Access on Thursday’s episode, Bell is currently asking $17 million per year with his team Pittsburgh Steelers and the negotiation is creating a massive roadblock between the player and Steelers.

He is indeed one of NFL’s most dynamic players. Last season alone, he went straight from 1,291 years to 655 receiving yards, and 11 touchdowns and this versatility might be the reason why he is demanding a pay raise.

However, critics, on the other hand, have different opinions. If he signs his privilege tender, he will be making $14.5 million this year, and he will also easily become the league’s highest-paid running back.

They swear that I’m bad news, people always thinkin that the Juice a bad dude…

However, him signing the $17 million average contract would even double Devonta Freeman’s yearly average. Also, let’s not forget that the Atlanta Falcons’ running back currently sits at No. 2.

NFL Network’s Aditi Kinkhabwala even said:

He wants to be paid exactly like Antonio Brown is paid. So the Steelers are saying, 'Well, we're going to wait a little while before we address that fully because clearly, the Steelers don't feel that that's where Bell's value is.'

Many critics have even labeled the demand to be ‘insane’ despite Bell’s talents.
