Bermudez had a keen interest in being a professional fighter since his childhood. At the age of thirteen, he began training MMA in a school in New England. When Manny Bermudez started training, he loved MMA more than any hobby or pastime and decided to go all in at a tender age.

Manny Bermudez's MMA Career

Early Career

At the age of 18, Manny Bermudez had his first amateur fight against Stefanos Kampouris at Cage Titran 10 – Prevail where he gained the victory in the round second via technical submission.

Before turning professional, Bermudez had two more amateur fights against Grant Mosley and Max Barrett at Cage Titans 11 – Victorious and Cage Titans FC – Cage Titans 22 respectively.

Professional Career

On 20th June 2015, Bermudez made his professional debut against Manny Torres at Cage Titans FC – Cage Titans 24, where he recorded his victory in around first by TKO punches.

After his professional debut, Bermudez made his appearance at Classic Entertainment and Sports – CES MMA 30 against Mak Kelleher on 14th August 2015. He won the fight via submission triangle Choke in the first round.

On 7th November 2015, Bermudez returned to Cage Titan FC and faced Scott Gorgone at Cage Titans FC – Cage Titans 26 where he won the fight by submission triangle choke in the 1st round.

The fighter next appeared for Classic Entertainment and Sports at an event named CES MMA 32 in the opposition to Evan Parker. Jackson won the fight via submission rear naked choke in the very first round. 

UFC

On 24th February 2018, Bermudez made his UFC debut against Albert Morales at UFC on Fox 28 – Emmett vs. Stephens. He won his UFC debut fight via submission guillotine choke in the round second.

Bermudez faced off Davey Grant on July 22, 2018, and he won the bout via a triangle choke submission. His next fight is yet to be announced. So far, Manny Bermudez has a squeaky clean record with no losses. 

He went on to defeat Benito Lopez at UFC on ESPN 1on February 18, 2019, via submission in the 1st round.

The fighter competes alongside Dominick Cruz, TJ Dillashaw and Jimmie Rivera in the Bantamweight division of UFC.
