Mohamed Ibrahim began his playing career with the U-23 team of Zamalek. On July 1, 2011, he was promoted to a senior team and made his debut in a league game under the coach Hossam Hassan.

In the start of 2011 season, Ibrahim was named as one of the key players. He scored his first goal for the club over Al-Masry, which became one of the most outstanding goals of the season.
