The two time Olympic Gold Medalist, Kayla Harrison might be trying to be the next Ronda Rousey.

After her recent MMA win, the world-class judoka practitioner, who made her MMA debut in June 2018, assured that she would defeat the current lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in a Judo match.

“Am I gonna beat Khabib? I mean I think I would beat him in a Judo match. For sure, 100 percent. I would beat Khabib."

The 2012 and 2016 Olympics Gold medalist said.

Khabib is a sambo practitioner and is a two-time Combat Sambo World Champion.

Kayla has adopted the same style that of Ronda who also called out several male fighters before losing her Bantamweight title to Holly Holm at UFC 193. Winning her all of the first three bouts under the PFL banner by way of TKO or submission, the former judoka has made a strong impression. She extended her record to four wins on May 9 defeating Larissa Pacheco via unanimous decision.
