In the 2016 NBA Draft, Pascal was selected by Toronto with the 27th overall pick on June 23 and he signed a rookie scale contract with Raptors on July 9, 2016. During his rookie season, Pascal was assigned several times to the D-League affiliate of Raptors 905 in Toronto.
He helped Raptors 905 win the NBA Development League Championship In April 2017. In the finals, they defeated the Rio Grande Valley Vipers 2–1, with Pascal averaging 23.0 points and 9.0 rebounds. Later on, he was named MVP of the NBA D-League Finals for his performance.
