As a little boy, Ramiz used to do boxing and karate. Growing up, his father always wanted him to know how to defend himself, Ramiz said. He started training all facets of MMA when he was in high school around his junior years.

While he was still in basic training, he received a phone call from his coach “hey I know you’ll be done in a week but do you want to fight in a month’s time?” Ramiz said “yes,” and from that night he was instantly hooked.

On 25th May 2018, he lost to Evan Cutts at LFA 40 on 25th May 2018. On August 10, 2018, he won against William Macario at LFA 47. On 30th November 2018, he lost to Justin Patterson at LFA 55. On 7th November 2020, Ramiz made his UFC debut at UFC on ESPN 17 - Santos vs. Teixeira against Max Griffin. He lost the fight via TKO (Doctor Stoppage).
