I Might Retire Over Media Obligations And Weight Cuts But I Will KO Khabib, If Khabib Fails To Make Weight Conor Wants Tony MMA

Fox network segment MMA and More's Mac Life featured Conor McGregor ahead of UFC lightweight title matchup against the current UFC lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. Unlike many other fighters, Conor seems to have properly planned his next move with the UFC. The interview with Conor gives a brief mentality of Conor's mindset going into the game.

With many things said in a short ten minutes time this seems to be the honest interview that the former double champ has done ahead of UFC 229 so far. McGregor openly admitted that if he feels heavy obligations towards the media and has to go through this brutal weight cuts time and again, he would potentially walk away from the game. Further, he also highlights the need for different weight classes so that the fighters could be saved from the brutality.

Afterward, he highlighted what could possibly be on the table for fight fans after he fights Khabib, Conot said a possible Nate Diaz trilogy can be a strong draw, a fight to gain three division strap against Tyron Woodley could be a big event too. And if in any case, 165 LBS belt division comes around, Nate Vs. Dustin's winner could also be the option. Being said all that, he even highlighted the possible GSP fight.

Conor in process of the talks clearly sent shots towards Khabib's way and in an unprofessional manner, the Notorious one said that he would have to settle things with Khabib somewhere else if the result goes to Khabib's direction. But the most interesting thing that Conor said was: "If Khabib fails to show up, or make weight, he would fight Tony Ferguson or Anthony Pettis, just to save the card.

It looks like Conor has taken it way too personally and is all ready to release the emotion on Khabib in the much-anticipated matchup at UFC 229 in Las Vegas.
