American gymnast Simone Biles has won the U.S. national all-around title in the U.S. Gymnastics Championships on Sunday night. The 21-year-old Olympic champion also created the history being the first and only woman to win five national all-around titles.

She made her debut in 2013 and won 4 titles from 2013 to 2016. Biles was out of action for 23 months and this is her second competition since the Rio Olympic 2016.

Biles (119.850) beat the 2017 all-around champion Morgan Hurd (119.850 ) by 6.55 recording the highest margin win among the 5 titles in her career. She also made the record of oldest all-around champion at the age of 21 in 47 years.

She also leveled the five gold medals win of Dominique Dawes.

She said:

“Being the first to sweep all the titles since Dominique Dawes is inspiring. It’s kind of cool to follow that path.”

Biles was also one of the 150 female gymnasts including Aly Raisman who came forward to accuse former USA Gymnastics team physician Larry Nassar of sexual assault in January.
