Tim Frazier's Early Life

Tim Frazier was born on November 1, 1990, in Houston, Texas to parents Billy Frazier and Janice Frazier.  Growing up he had two siblings, Krystal Frazier, and William Frazier.

Frazier attended Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in Houston, Texas where he played for his high school basketball team. He averaged 15.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 3.6 steals during his senior season of high school.

After completing high school, Tim Frazier enrolled at Penn State University and played for the Penn State Nittany Lions.

Tim Frazier's Career

Tim Frazier was not selected in the 2014 NBA draft but was invited by the Philadelphia 76ers for the 2014 summer league. He later signed a 10-day contract with the 76ers on February 5, 2015.

Frazier signed a multi-year deal with the Portland Trail Blazers on March 30, 2015. At the end of the 2014-15 season, Frazier had played in only 5 games for the Blazers and averaged 4.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists.

Frazier was waived by the Trail Blazers on February 18, 2016. He was later acquired by the Maine Red Claws before being signed by the New Orleans Pelicans on March 16, 2016, for a 10-day contract. He was later re-signed by the Pelicans on July 22, 2016. 

The Orleans traded Tim Frazier to the Washington Wizards on June 21, 2017, in exchange for the 52nd overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft. He appeared in 59 games for the Wizards in the 2017-18 season ending the season with an average of 3.0 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 3.3 assists.

Frazier was signed to a training camp deal by the Milwaukee Bucks on September 22, 2019, but was waived by the team a month later on October 15, 2018. The New Orleans Pelicans claimed Frazier's waivers on October 17, 2018. The current roster of Pelicans include players like Anthony Davis, Julius Randle, Jrue Holiday, and Jahlil Okafor.

He was waived by the Pelicans, on February 28, 2019.
