Top Five Strikers to watch in the World Cup 2018 Soccer

It is the golden era of the attackers as the attacking football is what the fans expect to watch. There are few players to have proved themselves as the best with their decent ball control, dribbling abilities, speed, and acceleration. A complete striker should also have a greater shooting ability with both feet and conversion rate tricking the opponent defenders and goalkeepers.

Here we have made the list of top five deadliest strikers to play in the World Cup 2018. The list is made based on their current club performance.

Harry Kane

Harry Kane has established himself as one of the best strikers in EPL and also in the world with his remarkable performance in 2017 and 2018. He was the best scorer in the Premier League in earlier two seasons and is the second highest scorer this season only behind Mohamed Salah. The two had a strong competition before Kane got injured. However, he is expected to continue his impressive goalscoring form in Russia too and register his first silverware with England.

Robert Lewandowski

The Polish frontman is unarguably the best striker of the Bundesliga and also one of the best in the world. The two-time league top scorer Lewandowski is currently the leading scorer in the German League with way more goals than his competitors. Bayern Munich's forward was also the highest scorer in the UEFA World Cup Qualification ahead of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Lewa is also believed to be the match changing player and the result of the Polish team will depend on him. We will have to wait until June to know what he can do.

Sergio Aguero

Every football fans know the goalscoring ability of the Argentine forward Sergio Aguero. The Manchester City frontman has missed many matches due to injury this season and has played only 25 matches. Despite all these, he is the third highest goalscorer in the Premier League and is one of the highest scoring Premier League players in the last five years.

Aguero with the support of Lionel Messi, Angel Di Maria, and Gonzalo Higuain in the front line is likely to shine in the Argentine jersey at the FIFA World Cup 2018.

Luis Suarez

Luis Suarez is the one of the prime reason behind the success of FC Barcelona at current. Since his debut in La Liga, Suarez has established himself as the goal machine and has also won the La Liga Golden Boot ending the dominance of Messi and Ronaldo. Uruguay's journey in the World Cup will be determined by his performance in the frontline with Edinson Cavani on the other side.

Suarez was able to take Uruguay into the Semi-Finals in 2010 World Cup but was criticised for his handball against Ghana. He was also suspended for about a year for biting Italian defender Georgio Chiellini in a final group stage game against Italy in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. No matter what, everybody is quite aware of his potential, he can do on the ground.

Antoine Griezmann

Amazing ball control, Wonderful shooting ability, Excellent skills and very quick! these describe the French forward Antoine Griezmann. Over the last three years, the Atletico Madrid star has established himself as one of the deadliest finishers.

Griezmann was a key player of the French team that reached the final in the Euro 2016. He was chosen the second best after Ronaldo in the tournament. He traveled Brazil in 2014 World Cup as a young player but has now gained a lot of experience and is believed to be the turning point in the French team.
