Corentin Tolisso Lyon joined the club at the age of 13,  made his professional debut in a 4-0 Ligue 1 home victory over Nice. On 24th October 2013, he made his European club competition debut in a 1-0 victory against HNK Rijeka in the group stage of the “2013-14 UEFA Europa League”.  A week later, Tolisso signed his first professional contract with Lyon for until 2017.

His first goal for the club was on 9th March 2014 in a 2-1 win against Bordeaux. Tolisso made overall 146 game appearances and scored 22 goals for Lyon.

Bayern Munich

On 14th June 2017, Tolisso signed a 5-year-contract deal for a transfer fee of $41.5 million plus up to $7.46 million potential bonus. On 5th August, he made a debut, starting in a penalty shoot-out win against Borussia Dortmund.

Thus far, he has made 17 appearances and scored 2 goals for his native football club.

Corentin Tolisso's International Career

Though Tolisso was also eligible to represent Togo through his paternal lineage, he chooses to represent France, stating that, “I was born here and grew up here.”
