Alexandro Silva de Sousa is a Brazilian renowned footballer who plays for “Botafogo” as a central midfielder. He is better known as Dudu Cearense or Dudu for his passing, tackling and aerial ability. He has also been capped for the “Brazil national team”.
Sorcerer Dudu was born on 15th April 1983, in Fortaleza, Brazil as Alexandro Silva de Sousa. He holds a Brazilian nationality and belongs to white ethnicity. Dudu started off his footballing career with “Ceara”. Shortly after, he began playing for the club “Victoria”.
After playing two years with the youth team, Dudu was promoted to the main team of the club Vitoria in 2000. From 2000-03 he made 43 appearances and scored 6 goals. Correspondingly, after the expiration of his contract, Dudu next signed for “Kashiwa Reysol” and then for “CSKA Moscow” in 2005.

In 2011, Olympiacos accepted an offer from “Atletico Mineiro” for a fee of 1.1 million. Dudu joined the Brazilian club and stayed there till 2012.
He then moved to “Goias” until the expiration of his deal in January 2014. Though the club wanted to extend the contract, the player denied. On 27th June 2014, Dudu signed a 1,5-year contract with the Greek Club “OFI Crete”. On 5th June of the same year, he agreed to a 1-year contract for $245,000 with “Maccabi Netanya”. The deal was the biggest contract in the history of the club.
However, 3 weeks later, it was reported that the player was poorly injured. Because of his injury, he couldn’t perform for Netanya in the league and only made two appearances in the “Topo Cup”. On 10 January 2015, Dudu returned to Brazil and signed a deal with “Fortaleza”. After playing a year for the club, he switched to “Botafogo”.
