An International Association Football referee, Milorad Mazic currently works as a match official in Super Liga, and FIFA listed and UEFA Elite tournaments. He has previously officiated in many Leagues and International Cups including Super Liga, Liga 1, Qatar Stars League, Egyptian Premier League, FIFA and UEFA Elite and many others.
Milorad Mazic was born on March 23, 1973, Vrbas, SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia to his Serbian parents. He belongs to white ethnicity holds a Serbian and Yugoslavian nationality.
In the beginning of his career, Milorad Mazic was selected to in the Serbian Super League for 2006-07 seasons. His first professional domestic match as an official came on August 18, 2007, between Red Star and Smederevo. After that, he refereed every season of SuperLiga since 2009.
Later, Mazic's first UEFA Champions League career as a match official began on September 19, 2012, in the match between Barcelona and Spartak. He was then promoted to Champions League quarter-final first leg match between Chelsea and PSG.
Milorad Mazic's first international appearance came on international friendlies between Serbia U-19 and Germany U-19 on March 31, 2009. He then officiated in the U-17 Europameisterschaft in numerous games including Germany U-17 and Turkey U-17, Switzerland U-17 and Spain U-17, Germany U-17 and Italy U-17 etc. In the year 2009, he refereed in World Cup qualification Europe, Super Liga, International Friendlies and U-17 Europameisterschaft 2009.
So far, Milorad Mazic has refereed in numerous competitions including, Europa League Qualifiers, Liga 1, Super Liga, UEFA European U-21 Championship qualification, International Friendlies, European Qualifiers, UEFA Champions League Qualification, Europa League Qualifiers, Europa League, Egyptian Premier League, Qatar Stars League and many others.
Mazic was selected as a referee for the World Cup 2014 between Germany and Portugal on June 16, 2014, and Argentina between Iran on June 21, 2014. He also gave his appearance in Euro 2016 for the three games.
Recently, Milorad Mazic is named as referee candidates for the upcoming World Cup Russia in 2018 after chosen by the FIFA Referees Committee. He received the awards after referring the final match between Germany and Chile in the 2017 Confederations Cup.
Milorad Mazic is Christian by religious and his favorite brand is Adidas. Besides, he is famous on social media sites and we can see numerous snaps of him with famous football players including Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe, and Luiz Suarez etc.
