Moses Simon's Professional Career

AS Trencin

On 13th January 2014, Simon signed a three-year contract for Slovak side AS Trencin. He made his League debut against MFK Kosice in a 1-1 draw whereas his international debut came during the Trencin’s “2014-15 UEFA Europa League campaign” where he scored a hat-trick on his debut match against FK Vojvodina Novi Sad in a 4-0 victory.

In his two seasons at Trencin, Simon played 33 matches scoring 13 goals.

Gent

On 6th January 2015, Simon arrived at KAA Gent, signing a three-year contract. After 11 days, he made his debut for Gent against Royal Mouscron-Perwelz in a 3-1 victory in league play.

Until now, Simon has played 71 games and scored 4 goals for his native club.

Moses Simon's International Career

In March 2015, Simon received a first call-up to Nigeria national team by coach Daniel Amokachi. On the 25th of same month, he made his international team debut in a friendly match against Uganda, replacing Anthony Ujah. His first goal for his nation came in a friendly match against Niger in a 2-0 victory, on 8th September.

On 10th November 2017, he was named to play against Algeria alongside his teammates Ogenyi Onazi, Mikel Agu and Aremu Afeez.
