Motaz Hawsawi is a professional soccer player from Saudi Arabia. He currently plays as a defender for National Team of Saudi Arabia and a Saudi Arabia football club Al-Ahli. He has been representing his National team since 2014.

Hawsawi is among the 23-man squad selected to play in the FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Motaz Hawsawi was born as Motaz Ali Hassan Hawsawi on 17^th February 1992, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Regarding his nationality, Hawsawi is Saudi Arabian. He spent his youth career Al-Ahli and has only represented Al-Alhi since then.

Career

Motaz Hawsawi began his career as a youth player of the Al-Ahli. In 2014, he started playing in a senior team of Al-Ahli.  During his first season, he appeared in 32 games scoring 2 goals. So far, he played 82 games for the club netting five goals. He has a contract with the team which keeps him until 1st July

Hawsawi is the member of the team that has been honored with 2014–15 Saudi Crown Prince Cup, 2015-16 Saudi Professional League, 2016 King Cup and 2016 Saudi Super Cup.

National Career

Motaz Hawsawi made his international debut with the Saudi Arabia U20 in 2011 with whom he played 7 games. He earned his senior cap in 2014 with the Saudi Arabia national football team. He has been capped 17 times for his national team, scoreless.

The Saudi playmaker is set to star at this summer's World Cup in Russia along with Omar Hawsawi, Hattan Bahebri, and Abdullah Otayf.

Motaz Hawsawi is 179 cm i.e. 5 feet 8 inches tall in his height and his weight is around 77 kg.  He is active on social networking sites including Instagram with 402K followers.
