Ola Aina is an international footballer who currently plays for National Team of Nigeria and Italian club Torino on a loan from Chelsea. The 22-year-old footballer joined the Senior team of Chelsea on May 31, 2018. He previously played for Chelsea U-18, U-21.

Ola Aina was born as Temitayo Olufisayo Olaoluwa "Ola" Aina on October 8, 1996, in Southwark, England. Aina belongs to black ethnicity and holds a Nigerian and English nationality.

His father name is Olufemi Aina and grew up with his elder brother, Jordan Aina.

Ola Aina’s Professional Career

Ola Aina signed with Chelsea U-11 and made his debut as a schoolboy in the 2012-13 season. He was the member of the team that reached the final of the FA Youth Cup.

Following his youth career, Aina represented Chelsea in U-18, U-19 U-21, and U-23 levels. He played with the youth team until 2016.

Aina's first match came in a pre-season against AFC Wimbledon replacing Todd Kane. Aina was the member of the team that won Barclays U21 Premier League (2013-2014), FA Youth Cup (2013-2015) and UEFA Youth League (2014-2016).

 In 2016, Aina was promoted to the first team of Chelsea under the coach, Jose Mourinho.

In July 2016, Aina extended his contract with the team for the next four years. He was the member of the squad in the traveling squad to Austria and the U.S.

Aina made his first professional debut against Bristol Rovers, EFL Cup replacing John Terry. He later made his debut in the Premier League over Leicester City with a 3-0 victory replacing Victor Moses. He was also the reserve member of the team that won Premier League (2016-2017).

Ola Aina's Loan Career

On July 11, 2017, Aina loaned to Hull City until May 31, 2018, and made his debut against Aston Villa in a 1-1 draw. So far, he has played 30 games.

Besides, In June 2016, Aina was featured in a video posted by Arsenal’s footballer Alex Iwobi who is his friend as well. In the video clip the two were looked playing football together.

After signing a new three-year deal with Chelsea, Aina joined Italian club Torino on a season-long loan on 14 August 2018.

Aged, 15 Aina earned his first international cap with the England U-16 under the coach Kenny Swain with whom he has played 6 matches.

Aina then played 11 matches for U-17, 1 for U-18, 13 for U-19 as well 4 for U-20.
