Sime Vrsalijko was born on 10 January 1992 in Rijeka, Croatia. He is of Croatian nationality.

Sime has yet to score an international goal for Croatia and was included alongside the player such as strikers, Marko Pjaca and defender, Ivan Strinic for 23 men Croatian squad led by the captain, Luka Modric at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
