Tom Heaton was born Thomas David Heaton on April 15, 1986, in Chester, England. He belongs to the white ethnicity and holds an English nationality. His father's name is Dave.

Tom Heaton Club Career

As an intern, Tom Heaton joined the youth team of Wrexham. He then joined Manchester United in 2002. He was eventually sent on to loan to Swindon Town in 2005 for a 2005-06 season. In his debut season for Swindon Town, he started in 14 league games.

Heaton was then loaned to Royal Antwerp in 2006 but he didn’t appear in any games. He joined Cardiff City on a loan contract from Manchester United for the 2008-2009 season. He played in 21 matches for the team.

Tom Heaton moved to Queens Park Rangers but spent a loan season as a bench member. After completion of his loan contract, he was sent on loan to Rochdale for the 2009-2010 season for the ELF League Two and made his debut match against Chesterfield in November 2009. He played 12 matches before the end of the 2009-2010 season.
