Uche started his senior and professional playing career when he joined Nigerian club, Taraba FC during 2010/11 season.

He later signed with Jos based club, JUTH FC in May 2011 and played for the club as a regular player and scored only once for the side.

In January 2012, he signed with Nigerian Premier League club, Enyimba International and played his first match for the team coming as a substitute against Dolphins on 28 April 2013.

His impressive skills caught the attention of Italian Serie A club, Udinese Calcio and signed a four-year contract in November 2013 after a successful trial with the Italian team.

It was reported he was paid $12317 per month as a wage from Udinese.

Uche was transferred to the reserve team and later on to the main team of Granada CF and made his La Liga debut for the senior team against  Levante UD on 23 February 2015 when he came on as a replacement for the Spanish player, Javi Marquez.

On July 2016, he signed with English Premier League Club, Watford FC and was instantly loaned back to his former club, Granda CF by the English side for a season.
