Yimmi Chara is a professional footballer from Colombia who currently plays as the winger for National Team of Colombia and Colombian professional football team, Atlético Junior. The 26-year-old footballer has also played for Centauros Villavicencio, Deportes Tolima, Monterrey, Atletico Nacional and Sinaloa.

Yimmi Chará began his career as a member of the Centauros Villavicencio. In 2009, he was promoted to a senior team of Centauros Villavicencio. Later, he left the club after making 11 appearances.

On January 1, 2010, Chara was transferred to Deportes Tolima and became the fifth Colombian in the present tournament joining his compatriots, Dorlan Pabon, Stefan Medina, as well as Edwin Cardona and Alexander Mejía, who just joined the team.

 For the club, Chara played 125 games and scored 26 goals.

Chara moved to Monterrey with the transfer fee of €3.30 million on January 1, 2015. He left the club in 2017 after making 45 appearances scoring 4 goals.
